Tesla has unveiled its new 6-seat variant of the Model Y, dubbed the Model Y L, set to launch in China this fall.
The Model Y L seats 6 passengers with its larger body. It is roughly 180 mm longer and 44 mm taller with an extended wheelbase.
Tesla also revealed these two official images:
A stylized “Y” badge with double shadow lines at the back, subtly hinting at its three-row seating layout.
The Model Y L recently appeared in China’s MIIT regulatory catalog, revealing a longer body and extended wheelbase designed to accommodate its new three-row seating layout.

The new Model Y L delivers even more power than the standard Long Range AWD Model Y. Tesla is set to launch it in China this fall as part of its push to boost its market share there, but it remains unclear if the Model Y L available in the U.S.
