Disclaimer: Only install it in the hidden screw holes on both sides of the roof (visible by lifting the sealing strip), avoiding the glass area. Use a torque wrench to tighten the screws strictly according to the force specified in the manual (about 5-6Nm), and it is strictly forbidden to over-tighten. During installation, make sure that the base of the bracket is flat and fits the metal frame of the roof, and the glass has no load-bearing capacity. We are not responsible for the roof glass breaking due to over-tightening.

I got a few days ago. I just put it on this morning. Great product and strong sturdy. Love mine. Bought an eBay one and that was not good. I had to buy this one on EV Base total difference when you buy the better one. I was trying to save money by going to eBay and that was a mistake. This one on EV Base is really well build. Much much better. Easy to install. See the clamp one is EV base and one is eBay. The EV base clamp so much thicker and stronger. Highly recommend EV Base model Y roof rack!!!
It is not compatible, some parts are not compatible with each other
My only negative consideration to the product is the high pitched whistle at speeds between 40-55mph, which I'd read about even with the Tesla version cross bars. Within minutes of my original review, customer service wrote me to provide some tips on how to reduce the noise, which I thought was great evidence of this team wanting satisfied customers. Well done and thank you!
