In an expansion of their existing agreement, Hilton is set to install up to 20,000 Tesla Universal Wall Connectors at 2,000 hotels across the United States, Canada, and Mexico starting in early 2024. This monumental initiative will establish Hilton’s planned EV charging network as the largest of any hotel company, solidifying its position as the ultimate choice for electric vehicle (EV) drivers.

Each selected Hilton property will feature a minimum of six chargers, ensuring hassle-free access for travelers seeking sustainable mobility solutions. This strategic move comes on the heels of Tesla’s recent launch of the Universal Wall Connector, designed to seamlessly charge any North American vehicle model, thereby expanding Tesla’s efforts to make top-notch charging available to all EVs.

Matt Schuyler, Chief Brand Officer for Hilton, expressed the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality while complementing guests’ daily routines. “At Hilton, we understand the importance of adapting to our guests’ changing needs. Shipping in October, Tesla’s Universal Wall Connector boasts impressive capabilities. With an 11.5kW/48-amp output, it can replenish up to 44 miles of charge per hour. Equipped with a 24-foot cable and the ability to share power with up to six other wall connectors, this innovative charging solution comes with a 4-year warranty, ensuring peace of mind for both Hilton and Tesla customers.
