Tesla says 64 Wall Connector for Business sites opened during the two weeks ending July 17, adding 381 connectors across public and private properties. The list spans apartments, hotels, offices, restaurants and leisure destinations, with most locations in the United States and one listed in Queensland, Australia. The largest deployments include 61 connectors at 930 West 8th Place in Los Angeles and 48 at Modera Saint Paul in Dallas.
Destination charging grows one property at a time
Wall Connectors serve a different purpose from highway fast chargers. They are Level 2 equipment designed for places where a vehicle will remain parked—often for hours rather than minutes. That makes apartments, hotels and workplaces especially useful locations. Drivers can add energy while sleeping, working or visiting a business instead of creating a separate charging stop.
Tesla’s list also shows two deployment strategies. A few properties installed dozens of connectors, suggesting parking-scale infrastructure planned for many regular users. Most sites added two to eight units, a smaller commitment that still puts charging into communities from Montana and Wyoming to Florida and Washington. Together, the 64 openings illustrate how a network can grow through many modest projects rather than only high-profile charging plazas.
Access and compatibility matter as much as the hardware
Tesla markets Wall Connector for Business as a managed charging product that can provide paid or complimentary access. A connector appearing on a property list does not automatically mean every driver can use it at any time; parking rules, property access, pricing and connector compatibility still matter. Drivers should confirm the site in their preferred charging app or with the property before depending on it.
