The factory washer fluid cap in the Cybertruck frunk is a standard plastic piece with a simple appearance. A trim cover adds a carbon-fiber–style finish that enhances the visual detail of the front trunk area and gives the frunk a more customized look.
2. Can the washer fluid cap in the frunk get scratched easily?
It can. When refilling the windshield washer fluid, the bottle or funnel may rub against the cap surface. A trim cover helps protect the original cap from scratches and wear, while also covering existing scuffs or marks.
3. Where is the windshield washer fluid reservoir located on the Cybertruck?
On the Cybertruck, the windshield washer fluid reservoir is located inside the front trunk (frunk) area. Once you open the frunk, the filler cap can be found near the front trunk liner.
4. Will installing a washer fluid cap cover affect refilling the fluid?
No. The trim cover is designed to sit on top of the original cap and does not interfere with opening the cap or refilling the windshield washer fluid. The factory functionality remains unchanged.
