Tesla Launches Model Y Performance, available now in Europe

Tesla has officially launched the Model Y Performance in Europe, with deliveries expected to begin in September. Produced at Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin, this high-performance electric SUV is now available for pre-order in countries including Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Performance Upgrades

Acceleration: The Model Y Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds, a significant improvement over the standard model's 4.8 seconds.

Power: Equipped with a 460 hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, the Performance model delivers enhanced power and responsiveness.

Range: Despite the increased performance, the Model Y Performance maintains a WLTP range of up to 580 km (360 miles), ensuring long-distance usability.

Charging: Tesla claims the Model Y Performance can add 243 km (151 miles) of range in just 15 minutes of charging, thanks to its new high-voltage battery cells.

Design Enhancements

Exterior: The Performance model features 21-inch "Arachnid 2.0" wheels and redesigned front and rear bumpers, offering a more aggressive and dynamic appearance.

Interior: Inside, the Model Y Performance includes performance badging, a 16-inch high-resolution touchscreen, and front seats with adjustable thigh extensions for added comfort.

Driving Dynamics

Suspension: The Model Y Performance is equipped with electronic dampers, providing improved handling and ride quality.

Stability Assist Mode: A new feature that allows drivers to customize traction and control settings, offering Standard, Reduced, or Off modes to suit different driving styles and terrains.
