First by saying EV Base has the best customer service. They helped throughout the whole process of installation and shipping. We were having problems with the shipping and they found a way for me to get the product before I was set out for my deployment. This company is AMAZING!!!!!

Installed on my 2025 R1T. The bracket design is simpler compared to the Gen 1 and relies only on a single T55 bolt to secure each one to the vehicle frame. For that reason each bracket on the driver-side tends to angled slightly toward the back on the car after the bolt is tightened, while the passenger side brackets are slightly angled toward the front. For the Gen 1 the design uses two screws to mount each bracket to the frame. However, I think for Gen 2 a single-screw mounting scheme may see the least compatibility issues as I've read Rivian changed at least once the location of the other screws except for the main T55 bolts, which caused some compatibility issues with some early Gen 2 running board brackets from another vendor. So while the EVBase bracket design is less than optimal it may not have any compatibility concerns. And while all brackets are not perfectly perpendicular to the sides of the frame the running board mounting slots provide enough space to hide that imperfection. I will know how EVBase's simpler design holds up in the long run. For now I think this product provides the best value on the market if you want to save some money for other upgrades.

It’s a shame these cars don’t come with these side step nerf bars. EVBASE should collaborate with Rivian and install these on their SUVs as a package add-on. I love it, my wife is short and it works best for her!! Happy wife happy life.

The quality of the steps is great. Heavy duty and fits from wheel to wheel very nicely. I originally purchased another brand and, although they looked nice, they were about 15 inches short of running within inches of each wheel well. I returned them and purchased these. Installation instructions were fairly good but some improvement can be made by providing clearer pictures and a bit more detail in actual instructions. I would have also liked some instructions on how to remove and cut the under panels so they could be replaced after installing the rail braces. Very happy with the product though.

I’m a short female and needed some Nerf bars or running boards to help me get out of my Storm Blue 2025 Rivian R1S Tri-Motor, all-terrain package. Plus, I have an elderly Dad who would not be able to get in or out of the R1S without running boards.

These boards are great! They are quality boards and not junk!

My husband and helper installed them in about 2 hours. He said the most challenging part of the installation was removing the MFG’s plastic body parts, which had to come off first. The MFG clips were a bit tough to remove, but that is because Rivian put it together well.

The running boards shipped with 2024 brackets, but EVBase emailed me after I placed the order to let me know that they were shipping the brackets for my 2025 model separately.

I am pleased with these boards. They look great and will give me extra protection when I am off-road
