EVBase is a comprehensive and up-to-date database of (hybrid) electric and other alternatively propelled vehicles. EVBase contains vehicle specifications, pictures, reviews, brochures, indicative prices and availability information. We plan to include experiences of fleet owners, enabling potential buyers to make a balanced decision when evaluating their clean vehicle procurement options.
Sourcing tool
Besides being an information (exchange) service, EVBase will enable fleet managers to issue 'requests for proposals'. For example, a municipality may indicate an interest in procuring a number of zero-emission garbage collection vehicles; EVBase will distribute this request to all potential suppliers of such vehicles.
Manufacturers of alternatively propelled vehicles are listed, including their company description, revenues, ownership, alliances, key staff, contact information and links to their web sites.
Finally, the EVBase contains detailed information on the main suppliers to the alternative vehicle industry: Battery system manufacturers, engineering houses, electric motor manufacturers, etc., including what they supply and who they supply to.
